Movement that meets you where you are

With Yoga, Thai Massage, and Personal Training in Frome, I specialise in strength, mobility and balance for well-being for every body.

About Jyn

My approach to well-being is deeply personal. I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to every session because my own recovery journey shaped my understanding of what minds and bodies truly need to heal.

I know what it’s like when your body doesn’t feel like your own, when pain is a constant companion, or when low mood makes movement feel like an impossible mountain. Through my own healing journey, I discovered the profound power of somatic practices, including yoga, breathwork, and Thai massage, to reconnect with the self.

That’s why I’m passionate about creating a judgement-free space right here in Frome, where you can move and heal at your own pace.

Yoga classes

  • I teach yoga as a way to reconnect you to your body — not to perform, but to feel.

Jyn Fusion Yoga blends strength, fluid movement and nervous system awareness. My classes are inspired by vinyasa and ashtanga foundations, woven together with mobility training, balance work and restorative elements to support real-life resilience.

Movement should build you — not deplete you.

Through my 7 Week Flow series, we explore themed practices that develop strength, openness and integration across the whole body. From hips and heart-opening work to core stability, balance and deep reset, each week builds progressively so you feel steady, capable and more at home in your body.

In every class we work with:

    – Breath to regulate and centre

    – Mobility to restore range

    – Strength to support longevity

    – Balance to cultivate steadiness

    – Integration to move as one connected body

Expect thoughtful sequencing, clear guidance and space to move at your own pace. No rushing. No pushing for ego. Just grounded, intelligent practice that supports you now — and for the years ahead.

    My intention is simple:

To help you feel strong, fluid and quietly powerful in your own body.

    • Personalised Attention: Small class sizes mean I can provide individual adaptations and modifications for everyone.

    • Flexible & Local: Enjoy a routine that fits your life with drop-in classes and no restrictive block booking.

    • A Restorative Finish: Each vinyasa session ends with a mini massage and guided meditation set to carefully curated music. It’s a unique touch my students tell me is their absolute favourite part of the week.

  • Wednesdays 7.30pm – 8.30pm

    Sundays 9.30am – 10.30am

  • A healthy team is a resilient team. In today’s fast-paced environment, the physical and mental health of your staff is your most valuable asset. Whether your team is based in a creative studio, a busy shop, or a local office, I bring the benefits of restorative movement directly to your workplace in Frome, Bath and the surrounding areas.

    Why choose workspace yoga?

Sedentary desk work or physically demanding roles can lead to chronic tension, back pain, and burnout. My sessions are specifically designed to:

    • Relieve Physical Strain: Target common "office aches" in the neck, shoulders, and lower back.

    • Reduce Stress: Use breathwork and mindfulness to improve focus and mental clarity.

    • Foster Connection: Build team morale through a shared, non-competitive activity.

    • Boost Productivity: A short break for movement can lead to a more energised and creative afternoon.

How it Works: I understand that every workspace is different. I offer flexible options to suit your environment:

    • Mat-Based Sessions: If you have a meeting room or clear floor space, I can lead a full vinyasa or restorative flow.

    • Chair Yoga: No space? No problem. We can practice effective stretches and breathing techniques right at your desks—no change of clothes required.

    • Tailored Programmes: From one-off well-being days to weekly "Wind-down Wednesdays," I create a schedule that fits your business needs.

Inclusive by Design: Just like my studio classes, my workspace sessions are for every body. Whether your employees are regular practitioners or have never stepped foot on a mat, I provide modifications so that everyone feels comfortable and included.

  • As a qualified Thai massage practitioner with over 10 years of experience, I offer an approach that is quite different from a typical spa treatment.

    My Approach:

Thai massage is an ancient art — a meditation in motion that invites the body to soften, breathe and unwind. I practice Northern style Thai massage, a gentle, meditative tradition that I trained in at its source in Thailand, steeped in the legacy of teachers who have passed this healing wisdom through generations.

Here’s what this sacred touch invites:

Thai massage is performed fully clothed on a comfortable floor mat, ensuring you never feel exposed. It is a form of "joint meditation". I work intuitively, using my body weight and palm pressing along energy meridians to relieve tension. We explore your range of motion together through passive stretches that release deep-held physical and emotional stress.

  • This is particularly effective for:

    🌿 Deep Unwinding of Tension

Muscles and fascia unfold slowly, like sunrise light through dawn mist — easing stiffness and welcoming softness into places that have held too much for too long.

🌬 Fluidity & Freedom of Movement

Guided stretches rooted in the yoga tradition open joints and lengthen connective tissue in ways that are both restorative and expansive.

    🧘‍♀️ Nervous System Regulation

The slow, compassionate pace soothes the body’s stress response, bringing you into a state of ease where breath deepens and the mind finds calm.

    Energetic Balance & Presence

This work is grounded in ancient philosophy that honours the body’s pathways and invites energetic harmony — a graceful alignment of body, breath and awareness.

🌺 A Restorative Pause for the Spirit

Far beyond physical relief, this practice creates space for stillness — a chance to pause, to feel, to simply be.

  • For clients in the Frome , Bath and the surrounding areas who cannot travel, I offer home visits. Whether you are recovering at home or feel more comfortable in your own space, I can bring the healing to you.

What people say

  • "Before I started having massage treatments, I was experiencing painfully tight hips which made it difficult to sit on the floor. My legs and shoulders held a lot of tension which limited the mobility of my limbs. Jyn's method of massage over a short course of treatments enabled me to release tension, gain flexibility and mobility. I highly recommend her."

    — Kieran Mac

  • "Best yoga class I've ever been to. I always feel so much more relaxed and supple afterwards. Jyn always asks if we have any problem/painful areas that need working on, which is really helpful. I also really enjoy the mini massage we get at the end of the class, which I have never experienced at any other class."

    — Orlanda Baylis

  • "After 40 years living with multiple sclerosis, I am now fully disabled without any movement apart from my head and a little in my arms. As I am in a wheelchair, Jyn is able to come to me at home to give me massage, which is really helping with relaxing all my limbs and muscular tension. It is a great help to be able to completely relax, although we have only been working together a few months I am really noticing the benefits of regular treatments."

    — Marjorie Alexander

  • "I am 82 years old and a cyclist and was having trouble with balance and getting on and off my bike due to stiff joints. Since starting regular massage sessions with Jyn I have not had the slightest difficulty biking. Jyn is very thorough and provides an excellent and efficient service that serves me very well."
